Mets is a small neighborhood, a heartbeat from all the main touristic attractions of the city center(it is a 10 minutes walk from Acropolis and just 5 minutes from Kallimarmaro Stadium)but it is not touristic at all. It is located on Ardittos hill. A little bit of Montmartre, a little bit of East London, this is a place you should discover if you want to visit one of the most charming areas of Athens. Mets took its name from the beer house that was established on the hill in 1870 by the Bavarians who accompanied King Otto to Greece. In the 19th century, due to the area's proximity to the Palace and the city center, the neighborhood was populated by middle-class families who built elegant, big neoclassical houses and changed the character of the area completely. It is now considered one of the most stylish neighborhoods of the city. Many artists, musicians, actors, painters have moved in Mets and have given it a more bohemian character. A handful of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in the area create a more cosy atmosphere.Added to all the above, many streets and houses offer views and glimpses of Acropolis, an ever-dominant shape of the Athenian skyline and eternal symbol of high art.

N°7 is a 145m² 4 bedroom presidential suite with fantastic views of Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, National Garden & Lycabettus both from indoor and outdoor and an exclusive roof garden. The main archaeological sites will literally be on your feet. You can move everywhere by foot while the Acropolis metro station is just 10’ away. Ma Maison Acropolis Mansion Suite N° 7 is a unique suite with a private roof garden located in Mets, right in the heart of Athens. This is the right place if you want to discover the city. It is one of the most classy and sophisticated neighborhoods in Athens (often called as "Montmartre of Athens") with a lot of shops (supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shops, fruit markets, traditional Greek restaurants, pharmacies, etc.).
The suite is situated in a fully renovated grand neoclassical house with high ceilings. The 115m² first floor has one living room, one dining room, one kitchen, one big hallway, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is an extra bedroom of 25m² (the fourth) located on the roof garden, which has an ensuite bathroom that is separate from the first floor suite. Just in front of the house there is an archaeological site, the temple of Artemis Agrotera. It has balconies back and forth and big openings with fantastic unobstructed views of Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, National Garden, Zappeion, Filopappou and Lycabettus Hills from the interior of the suite. Another unique feature is the private roof garden that can be accessed through an external staircase and offers the best views in Athens.
You can come very easily from the airport through Metro network. There is also a link through the Metro network from the port of Piraeus. Acropolis metro station is 500 meters away.

Title: Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Athens!We had a fantastic time in Athens and this property made it even more special! The apartment was clean, stylish, and perfectly locate and great local restaurants. It was a quiet retreat after busy days exploring the city. The host was welcoming, responsive, and offered great tips for getting around. We’d absolutely stay here again!5/5 – A perfect Athenian getaway!

We had an excellent stay in this very well appointed apartment! The view from the rooftop was beautiful and the communication between the owner and myself was superb. We also hired a driver to pick us up and take us back to the airport for an extra fee but so worth it!

Great communication. They set up transportation and meet all our needs with a large group off of a cruise ship. Seamless operation and very helpful on the local area as well. Stay was great. Property was beautiful.

We had the best time at this location! First of all, Yannis was excellent at communicating and answering all my questions before and after booking. He was extremely responsive which I really appreciated. The house was perfect for our family of 6 that stayed there. It was in a fantastic location with an amazing rooftop terrace. Just know that the stairs to get to the rooftop terrace and the room on the rooftop is a narrow outdoor staircase but we loved it. You can not beat the view of the acropolis on the rooftop. Also, the area is in walking distance of some many different tourists sites so that worked perfectly for us. Finally, this location offers a shuttle to pick you up from the airport for an additional fee. I highly recommend taking advantage of this. Tolis (who picked us up) was great and provided us with so much information about the house and area
