The Westin has everything you need for a carefree trip! This 2-bedroom unit in Great Cruz Bay is perfect for your tropical winter escape. This unit overlooks the pool with views of Great Cruz Bay, and its spectacular sunsets, and is convenient to all of the Westin activities and dining options. While it is in the heart of the activity during the day, it is surprisingly quiet when the sun goes down. You’ll LOVE the balcony for a lovely evening nightcap.

**RENTAL FEE FOR THIS UNIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER DECEMBER 1, 2025. That is MY cutoff for banking my points!**

This unit has a king bed and 2 double beds, all of which are the exclusive Westin Heavenly Bed (you will LOVE them) and a cozy living room with a sofa bed. There is a shower in the MBR and a tub/shower combo in the second BR. Both are fully stocked with shampoo, rinse, shower soap, blow dryers and plenty of towels. Secure your important documents in the safe, located in the closet of the MBR.

The fully equipped kitchen is complete with cooktop, refrigerator with ice maker (very important in the tropics!), garbage disposal, cookware, dishes, coffee maker, toaster and blender for your morning smoothies or tropical drinks! There are BBQ grills in the common area of each building for those who enjoy cooking up their own food.
The unit has 3 flatscreen tv's, DVD players, a Bose AM/FM Wave radio, free WiFi and stacking washer and dryer (in the unit!). Go home with clean clothes!!!

Relax at the quarter acre pool with its two islands and a waterfall. Keep your eyes open for the iguanas who ALSO love the water and are very good swimmers. Looking for activity? At the Pool Hut Activities Center, you can check out basketballs, tennis equipment, Frisbee golf or participate in the hermit crab races. Make a tie-dye shirt, try your luck at Bingo (with mimosas for adults!), Bob for Beer (soda for the kids!), make an ice cream sundae or (for those of legal age!) sample the local rums! They may even put up the net for water volleyball! There is a shallow area at one end of the pool for the little ones. Tucked behind the Pool Hut is the lovely whirlpool spa.

Twice a week the incredible Jewel House on St Thomas brings their selections exclusively to the Westin and will be under the gazebo near the Pool Hut.

Revel in the luxury of a private cabana, replete with comforts including a mini-fridge stocked with cold water, iPod docking station, flat-screen TV, private lounge chairs and a locking safe for your personal belongings. Head to the 1,200 foot long sandy beach and stretch out in a chaise lounge (or grab a floatie!) and soak up the sun, enjoying the beautiful turquoise water. Grab food and beverages right there at the pool from Snorkels Grill. No worries that you’ll miss a sporting event, back stateside, as there are 4 large screen TVs at Snorkels.

Looking for more dining options on property? Visit Mango Deli where you can grab a cup of coffee and a fresh pastry, a made-to-order sandwich, homemade wraps, or a pizza to go. Choose from a wide selection of beer, wine, spirits and munchies.
Lemongrass Restaurant & Bar features Caribbean flavors with American favorites and offers indoor and outdoor seating with fantastic views of Great Cruz Bay. Located next to the dock, they also offer weekend brunch.

Don't let travel interrupt your workout routine! At the Westin you'll find a well-equipped workout facility with treadmills, elypticals, yoga mats, free weights, benches, a Life Fitness Dual Adjustable Pulley machine as well as several targeted area machines.

While the Westin is incredibly relaxing, and you may not want to leave, the island offers SO many beautiful beaches, trails and places to eat! Many excursions depart right from the resort’s dock throughout each day—from kayaking in Great Cruz Bay to the mangroves in Hurricane Hole (to see the stunning Queen Angels and other incredible marine life). The NIGHT KAYAK experience, right there at the Westin, is a do not miss!!! So much more to do: Snorkel the world-famous Trunk Bay underwater trail. Go scuba diving. You don’t scuba? No problem! Get certified by PADI certified instructors and discover the incredible marine world in the exotic reefs, caves and grottoes. Hike one of the 20 trails on island! Go to the Annaberg Sugar Mill Ruins. Hike Ram Head at sunrise! Let the wind fill the sails on a catamaran trip to the famous Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost VanDyke, The Baths, Pizza Pi (the popular pizza boat in Christmas Cove) or float on a lily pad at Lime Out for incredible tacos.

Our Favorite Beaches:
WATERLEMON-if you are up for a hike (it’s flat, 0.5 miles). GREAT snorkeling
FRANCIS BAY-has a bathroom, no concession stand,
HAWKSNEST one of the spots we saw TWO giant spotted eagle rays and a nice size barracuda.
CINNAMON BAY- see if you can find the plane that crashed years ago! Head to the left towards Little Cinnamon Bay and Peter Bay
HONEYMOON-has concession stand, we enjoy the short 10-15 min hike down to the beach from Lind Point Trail. Keep your eyes open for hermit crabs!
HANSEN BAY- on the East End (Coral Bay), ample parking but it is on private property. The owners are super nice, they have picnic tables, some umbrella and there is great snorkeling.
SALT POND - turtles, spotted eagle rays, octopus, squid. Nice and sandy. Good snorkeling to the left and right among the rocks. Has a bathroom (bring your own hand sanitizer)
MAHO - not as many turtle here since the food trucks moved in. You may see large yachts in the bay as well as donkeys on the beach! So, protect your food!
TRUNK-voted, multiple times, as the most beautiful beach in the world. There is an entry fee, bathrooms, showers, food and drinks. Can rent chairs
CANEEL BAY-finally opened post Irma-Maria. Definitely snorkel around the dock! Fantastic marine life there!!!

OUR FAVORITE TRAILS:
CINNAMON BAY TRAIL – moderately easy, 1.8 miles with very cool ruins!
REEF BAY TRAIL- One of the hardest trails on island, but worth it. It is downhill the first half so that means it is uphill going back! Allow 2.5 hours, go early and take plenty of water. The famous Petroglyphs are on this trail. Amazing ruins on this trail. Crazy bragging rights that you did it! LOL . You can go all the way to Reef Bay and, if you plan accordingly, the National Parks will pick you up by boat so you don’t have to make the hike back up.
CANEEL HILL TRAIL – The OTHER hardest trail! 2.4 miles of nothing but hills and a spectacular view! Tons of cool vegetation. You’ll be glad you conquered this one!
RAMS HEAD TRAIL – start at Salt Pond. A moderate 2 mile round trip hike. It is all about THE VIEW at the end! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. On a clear day you can see St Croix

Our Favorite Places to Eat Off Property:
EXTRA VIRGIN: Cruz Bay. Get a reservation. If you request to eat at the bar you do not need to follow their preset menu.
THE TERRACE: Cruz Bay. Request an early seating at the rail for the sunset!
BANANA DECK: Cruz Bay. Reservation highly recommended
HIGH TIDE: Cruz Bay. It’s High Tide. Everyone goes there!
BEACH BAR: Cruz Bay. Crazy popular. Will have live music. See yourself on the WebCam!
SKINNY LEGS: Coral Bay. An absolute do not miss. It’s legendary

UNITS ARE ALL NON-SMOKING! Smoking permitted in designated areas only.

REEF SAFE SUNSCREEN: The U.S. Virgin Islands has banned sunscreens containing harmful chemicals like oxybenzone, octinoxate, and octocrylene, which are known to damage coral reefs. This law, effective since March 2020, requires the use of non-nano mineral sunscreens, such as those with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, to protect both skin and marine life.

*Effective May 1, 2017 the U.S.V.I. has mandated a $25 per day (not per person) tax which will appear on your bill along with incidentals. The Westin is legally required to collect this fee upon check out*

The resort check-in process begins at 4PM. The resort cannot guarantee access to your villa before 4PM. Should your villa not be ready at 4PM, the front office staff will store your luggage and you may enjoy the resort's amenities until your villa is ready.
