Breakfast was mediocre . pretty standard for this type of breakfast nothing special . Staff was for the most part pleasant and helpful (more on that below) . Room was exactly as advertised in the website .
The Hotel is under construction . Nothing to warn you of that until you arrive and are forced to go around to the back to enter . When you do it is a lobby with plastic on the ceiling and things hanging . The carpet in the hall of the floor I was on was filthy and full of drywall dust .The fire alarm was tripped falsely which resulted in the hotel being emptied into the cold until it was solved . I was not informed that there was no maid service for my room until after i asked why my room did not get fresh towels and clean sheets . NO problem if that's your policy , but for the price i was paying it's not something you usually have to ask for and I should have been informed ( and not on the back of some note in the room ) . The Wifi was constantly connecting and disconnecting which made communication with my employer difficult at best . I was told (very politely ) that these where either the policy of the hotel or issues with construction that where out of their control. All well and good but then where was my discount for "putting up with " the construction ? Where was the notification that there would be these issues . Where was the discount? Find a cheaper place as your not getting what you pay for at this time.
