California Building

Loved the kitchen and dining space, which allowed us to prepare and eat some meals in during our stay. Good size apartment for our needs. Very clean. Water fountains on the ground floor so you can refil water bottles. The location of the apartment was walking distance to the French quarter (upto 30 mins depending on whwre exactly you are going) and plenty of transport links a few stones away to get around.

I had booked a 4 person apartment for 3 of us and the sofa bed was not made up. Housekeeping delivered the missing bedding. Parking charges seemed very steep so we parked in nearby garages for a fraction of the cost. Laughed at the 'Zen' garden, maybe that can be showed some love. The lack of natural light into the apartment was a bit of a shame.

The location was great. Right in the border of the business district and french quarter. The apartment was spacious and homey. The beds were comfy and they have 2 full size bathrooms.

Hot water had a gremlin anchad the turn on the sink to heat the shower but otherwise it was safe. Only have valet parking. There is however on open parking lot next door through spot hero p142 with in and out privileges. We could see the car from our room

Great location, place was clean and comfortable. Close to bourbon st but a few blocks away so it's quiet and you're able to sleep well.

The front desk staff are unprofessional and rude. Cleaning could be improved, there were stains in our “clean” towels. Valet service is very poor and needs better structure. Not to mention on Saturday night my vehicle would not be returned to me when requested and the next morning my steering wheel cover had been removed, things in my car were completely re arranged and adjustments had been made to all my mirrors which is unusual and unnecessary with valet services, especially when they (are supposed to only) drive your car 20 feet away into a car garage connected to the building. I tried reporting this to the building but of course, the front desk did not care and when asked to be given a phone number to valet management- that number did not pick up. Waste of over $100 parking fee they charge when you have to deal with this. Just pay cheaper garage parking next door. Horrible experience all around, just a convenient area.
