Beautiful ,spacious and comfortable place. Well equipped kitchen. Gorgeous little outdoor space to relax on the swing. Bed was very comfortable and there was AC and fans to keep the place nice and cool.

We stayed at Maatam Retreat for 3 days along with my wife and sister, and it was truly an awesome experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at home. The host, Mr Parameshwaran, was extremely helpful, warm, and hospitable, always available whenever we needed anything, yet never intrusive. That personal touch made a big difference to our stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean, neat, and very well maintained. Honestly, the experience felt like staying in a high-quality homestay or studio apartment abroad rather than a typical local stay. Everything was thoughtfully arranged — from fresh bath towels and clean bedsheets to basic cooking utensils, which made it very convenient and comfortable. The place has a homely, calm, and peaceful vibe, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The attention to cleanliness and comfort was impressive, and we slept really well during our stay. Overall, it was a very comfortable, cozy, and memorable stay, and we absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend Maatam Retreat to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful, and warm place to stay.
