Overall, our stay was decent, but there are a few areas that could be improved. On a positive note, the host was responsive and attentive throughout our stay. Overall rating: 5.5/10

The location is slightly far from Tokyo’s main attractions, but it is conveniently near Shimura-sakaue Station, which makes getting around manageable with proper planning. Upon arrival, we noticed that the unit was quite dusty, and unfortunately, I experienced an allergic reaction during the first two days. This could be improved with more thorough cleaning before check-in. We checked in as a group of 3 adults and 1 toddler, but only two sets of towels were provided. Additional towels came at an extra cost (600 yen for 3 sets), which felt a bit unreasonable given the number of guests. The property is located next to a hospital, which was not mentioned beforehand. Guests should be aware that ambulance sirens can be quite frequent, especially at night. There was no designated space to hang clothes, although hangers were provided. Installing a simple hanging area or rack would be helpful. The pillows provided were quite small and uncomfortable, and the tatami in the first room was also not very comfortable. Standard-sized pillows would make a big difference to sleep quality. Air conditioning and heating were only available in one bedroom and the living room. The other bedroom had neither, which could be uncomfortable depending on the season. It would be better to have climate control in all rooms.
