Apartment am See

The location of this apartment is so beautiful it beggars belief. It is right on the water. Sitting on the terrace in the sunshine was amazing. One evening we sat and watched as a thunderstorm rolled by - spectacular. The apartment is perfectly located in relation to the train station, the ferry stop and the downtown. All very short walks away (it's right next to the ferry stop). There are so many walking trails and things to do in the area and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The apartment is exactly as shown. It is clean and comfortable and perfect for a small family like ours. There was plenty of storage space and we were pleasantly surprised to find jams, coffee, milk, herbs and spices already there. There were also board games provided and a film projector for watching TV or movies. We loved it here and will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place.

There were no sharp knives and no bread knife, which would be necessary for cooking. Luckily we had our Swiss army knives with us so we could make do. The bedding for the pull out couch was not very nice and really should be replaced with cotton covers rather than synthetic materials. Also the pillows were huge and it would be a nice thing to have size options. These were our only small issues with an otherwise perfect stay.

Lovely location, beautiful views, great little village, with cafe and bar. Highly recommend.

Not obvious where the front door is. No number on the front. Bathroom a little tired, but not a deal breaker.
