The total experience was amazing. It’s an adventure tu reach the camp after 45 mins of 4x4 driving into the desert, completely alone. No internet, no connection during the drive. Once you reach there, the atmosphere is just fantastic. Quiet, a bit windy, but peaceful. We really enjoyed the dinner with the owner and other couple and had a very good and interesting conversations. Even we saw a giant tortoise during the dark night!!! Totally recommendable. We will come back for sure.

Barr Al Hikman è un luogo ai confini del mondo, impossibile arrivarci senza una guida esperta. Noi ci siamo affidati a Mahir e Michaela che si sono sempre fatti trovare pronti e disponibili ad accogliere ogni nostra richiesta. Bellissima l’escursione in laguna, fino alle incredibili Sugar Dunes. Mahir ci ha sempre guidati nella massima sicurezza, aiutandoci ad affrontare deserti e dune senza difficoltà. Totalmente consigliabili!
Sebbene Ocean Camp sia in una zona tenuta con più cura, in generale Al Hikman e Sugar Dunes in molte zone risultano trascurate e con tanti detriti di plastica depositati dal mare. Nulla a che vedere con la struttura, nuova e curata benissimo (standard europeo).
