Very homey ! Loved the gentan entrance to take off your shoe wear with a bench to accommodate, and found the sofa bed to be quite comfortable to sleep on.
A little snug, especially with the washer/dryer right outside the door.

Great location, very pleasant, quiet and safe city neighborhood. Public transport is nearby, as well as a small grocery store. The house is really cute and everything in the apartment works and it´s clean.
I was in the apartment in the summer and it was pleasant. In the winter you have to use the heaters (available in the rooms), the kitchen and bathroom might be a bit colder. That's the only thing to discuss in this great place.

The property is well maintained, renovated inside and easy to get to! The owner was easily accessible and communicated regularly. For a short stay, it was perfect!
The only thing to note is that it’s NOT sound proofed. You can hear the main floor walking, talking, flushing toilets and playing in the backyard. It didn’t overly bother me, but it’s something to be aware of.

We liked the location - it was easy to get to everything with public transport options close by. It was cozy and secure - we felt safe and warm inside. We saw a hummingbird from the main bedroom window and also a squirrel in the garden!! Both very exciting for Aussies. We liked having the use of the washing machine and dryer as travelling with kids = laundry! Brian was a responsive and friendly host.
The suite is the bottom floor of the main house so sometimes we could hear noises from above which disrupted our sleep a little. The suite was missing a couple of things (eg dishcloth, dustpan). Brian gave us a dustpan on request and we needed to buy cloths for our trip anyway. Residents only parking on the street meant we had to park a short walk away = only a minor inconvenience but could be harder for some guests.
