The Orchard Guesthouse

It isa overly big well resourced unit set in a tranquil garden. For me it was well placed because it was just around the corner from family I was visiting. My grand nephew and niece loved coming over to swim and see the chickens.

Shower's plumbing needs to be fixed. Hosts aware, unable to get a plumber out to property.

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay at The Orchard Guesthouse. It was the perfect place to escape reality for a couple of days. The guesthouse was cosy, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable, with so many thoughtful touches throughout. We were pleasantly surprised to find a partially stocked fridge and freezer, including fresh eggs from the resident chickens, which made our stay feel even more special. We also loved the cinema setup and spent every evening curled up watching movies. The peaceful location made it the perfect base to explore beautiful Montville before returning to relax each night. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about coming back.

Absolutely nothing. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Spacious, generous hosts, well appointed, they thought of everything! The kitchen was excellent, and the home cinema a treat. They had books, games, and more. Even fresh eggs.

No privacy. Not closed off from the main house except for only a curtain, so noisy with life, dogs and dinner parties. I felt like I was staying in a family member’s rumpus room. Bed wasn’t comfy but owners did there best to make the stay comfortable. Parking wasn’t always accessible when needed.
