Zostel Homes Mussoorie, Mall Road

A very nice hotel in a very nice, calm and quiet location. We came traveling with family and took the three-bedroom apartment and would happily consider going there again with a bigger group. One should be aware that it being in a quieter location also means that it‘s not so easy getting a taxi from here to the Mall Road. It is possible to walk there though within half an hour if you are up to that. The food that one could get delivered to the rooms was very good. At least with a bigger group you should expect some considerable waiting times though. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They even gave us a playground see-saw and a slide when we asked about playgrounds in the vicinity for our children. Just one day they knocked on our door and installed it on our balcony. Our children were thrilled! So definitely recommended if you are travelling with small children.

The kitchen could’ve been faster. Also, they should get a generator for longer power cuts.

Location is good quite and peaceful, very spacious rooms, neat and clean rooms and facilities.

Food options are very limited , breakfast options also not available.

I stayed at Zostel Homes recently and honestly didn’t expect it to be this nice. I booked the cottage room, the view from the room alone is worth it. You can see both the mountains and the valley, and it feels completely peaceful even though Mall Road is just walking distance. The staff were super warm and helpful throughout my stay. They greeted me with complimentary buransh shot at my arrival. Food was exquisite and reasonably priced, just what you want in the hills. I also booked the jacuzzi in evening, which turned out to be a great call. It’s got this insane 270° view, and the team surprised me with a complimentary bottle of champagne, which was such a sweet touch. It’s a fairly new property, but everything feels well thought out and cozy. Definitely worth staying here if you’re looking for a quiet spot in Mussoorie without being too far from the main town.
