There are superb walks and scenic views to be had along the nearby coastal path, which stretches for 60 miles around the Island. Travelling 4 miles takes you to the delightful Victorian resort of Ventnor, well known for its mild climate and sandy beaches.

The property is very cute, beds comfy and bedrooms light. The garden is also pretty. Good cooking equipment, but can only use toaster OR jug at one time. Instructions on how to find the house would help - luckily we met a helpful neighbour. Living room smells overwhelmingly of the burnt wood stored there. We were excited about the hot tub, one of tbe key reasons we booked, but it was only 16c when we checked in and it heats at 1 to 2c an hour - so not much good for first day. It then malfunctioned. There is no manual, and our messages to owner remained unanswered. Needs a coffee brewing solution.
