The balcony was nice and it was easy to make friends with other travellers. The stay was very relaxing. It was close to the beach and the main stores. They can help you book activities and rent bikes and scooters. Very friendly staff and cute decoration.
There was a cockroach in the dormitory bathroom. It probably came from outside, but just a reminder to always to never leave your luggage open. Otherwise it was quite clean!
Also just a notice that you cannot swim at the beach right in front of the hostel because of the current! But there are other beaches that you can swim in if you a rent a bike or scooter.

Very good location, close to the bus stop, main street, beach, they help with motorbike rental which makes it all easy.
To be honest this was rather an average hostel experience, probably the worst one we stayed in across entire Taiwan trip. No natural light in the room, 1 shower and toilet for 8 people, without AC there was no air in the room, but AC itself was pretty loud so you can choose. But it was cheap so for youngsters who doesn’t care much this can be a good option.

matress was a bit hard and pillow too soft
Only one toilet on first floor but it wasn't hardly an issue
Showers took some time to get hot water

Nice common area, they rent good scooters and are in a good location. Just off the main road but it’s really quiet at night. There are nice restaurants nearby and a night market. Friendly and helpful staff
Nothing to complain.
