POOL HEATING POLICY:
The pool includes a heating feature, but please note:
48-hour advance notice is required if you’d like the pool heated during your stay.
Heating is available only during colder seasons (late fall, winter, and early spring).
We do not keep the pool heated year-round.
Pool heating is $50 per day, with a minimum charge of $200
– For reference:
• 2-night stay → $200
• 3-night stay → $250
• Longer stays billed at $50/day
This ensures we can prepare everything for your comfort before arrival!
There is no lifeguard on duty. The owners, and agents of the property will not be held liable for accidents that are pool or deck related, drownings, or bodily harm/personal injuries.
While we will try our best to make sure the pool and its equipment is working, there is no refund if the pool is off-line due to maintenance.
HOT TUB:
If the hot-tub is undergoing maintenance or repairs and is unavailable during your stay, there are no discounts or refunds.
Please note that in the event we need to drain the hot tub after your stay, there will be a fee of $350 to cover the cost of maintenance and cleaning. We strive to keep our hot tubs in excellent condition for all of our guests to enjoy, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping them in top shape.
No diving in the hot tub. No glass in or near the hot tub. If there's any remnants of glass, guest will be charged a $2,000 fee.
If guests drain the hot tub, a $1,000 fee will be charged. Guests will also be held liable for any damages resulting from this action.
PETS:
• Max of (2) pets not weighing more than 50lbs.
• Pets are not allowed on the furniture.
• Pets must be supervised at all times.
• Pets must be declared upon reservation.
You are responsible for picking up after your pet while on the property and while in the neighborhood. Please BE RESPECTFUL.
SMOKING:
No smoking (cigarettes, pipe, tobacco or marijuana) or vaping is permitted inside at any time. Smoking and vaping are permitted outdoors, but please do not ash on furniture. There will be a charge of up to $1,000 for smoking in the house as well as if outdoor furniture is damaged.
PARTIES & EVENTS:
We DO NOT allow parties, receptions, or events.
Local ordinances dictate no loud music, noise, or partying. Quiet hours are 10PM to 8AM. No excuses.
If we receive any reports or notice that you are listening to music outside/being loud after 10PM, you will be charged a fine of $500 for breaking the quiet hours. Each occurrence of this will result in this fine.
By booking, you agree that if the police are called for excessive noise, partying, or other reasons you will be charged $1,000 and will be subject to non-refundable cancellation of the remainder of your reservation.
Please be respectful of our neighbors anytime outback. Inside the house, you are welcome to listen to music at normal levels and hang out. Please keep the doors closed when listening to music.

We enjoyed our stay at this home on Lake Norman. Our group of six found plenty of space in the upstairs living area and the downstairs game room. Having three full bathrooms was definitely a plus. The location was convenient to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The view of the lake can be seen by almost every room on the house.

The host was great! Very attentive to our needs, however the house and its contents could be in better condition. Lots of dust in the ventilation system, the pots and pans were worn and were scarce, the sliding closet door in the basement is broken, the oven in the kitchen has unreadable settings so we burned our food the first night, the towels provided are old and worn, and there are no cleaning products anywhere. We felt we should have brought more stuff to uphold the condition of the house which shouldn’t be the case. The floors of the house were dusty and uncleaned. The pool was dirty and was not cleaned before our arrival. My family came to relax, but had to clean everything before settling in, it was not convenient. The location of the house, the natural scenery, and the hot tub were all wonderful. The TV near the hot tub is broken and has a horizontal line going right through the screen. I’m just surprised because of how much we paid for the space that the condition could have been better. We found empty marijuana packaging in the spare bedroom drawer which was not ideal with small children present. We found a dead roach in the front bedroom window upon arrival too. I feel like the host needs to put more effort into maintaining the condition of the space. We will not be returning again unfortunately but we enjoyed our time the best we could considering the issues we ran into. Also, the host should purchase more utensils, plates, pots, and pans for the space. Thanks!
