Escape to this rustic farmhouse retreat near Detroit Lakes. This quaint and quiet 2-bedroom hideaway features 2 queen beds, and a twin bed, perfect for a cozy night's sleep. Enjoy the large living room with a comfy sofa bed for extra guests. With amenities like AC, heating, a hairdryer, and fully equipped kitchen, you'll have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Guests have access to the entire main floor of the home. The basement and attached greenhouse are non-guest areas. The entrance is shared with owners as an access to basement area. These areas may be accessed daily to care for greenhouse duties.
The kids and adults alike will enjoy hand feeding our flock of friendly goats across the fence.
This home is in close proximity to both Tamarac and Hubble Pond Wildlife Refuges for hiking, bird watching and hunting. Acess to North Country Hiking Trail is within a mile. We are near many great fishing lakes and within miles from ATV trails, and located right on the snowmobile trail. We are a 20 minute drive to Detroit Lakes and 30 minutes to Park Rapids or Perham.
Sit by the fire pit in the evening and roast marshmallows while watching the local deer make their appearance. Enjoy squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, fox and other wildlife.
