Ananda - Enchanted Forest Hideaway

Nestled in old growth forest and perched high above a tranquil river, Ananda cabin is tucked amidst mountains and is a two min drive to whale watching and gorgeous beaches. This cozy, newly built cabin is a serene retreat for one or two - with a queen bed, bathroom with shower, and kitchen, and gorgeous views and balcony overlooking the forest and river. This place speaks of forest dreams, enchants with the whisper of the river and mountains, and is the perfect base camp or rejuvenating retreat. The cabin is a welcoming, open concept well-suited for two people or a solo traveller. There is a petite but well-stocked full kitchen. The bathroom has a shower (no tub). The path and stairs leading from the parking spot by the road to the cabin require a 1-2 minute walk in to the woods and is a little steep and gravelly in places (not wheelchair accessible, suitable for able-footed folks), however there is a rope- railing and solar lights at night for guidance. There is a key-lock box for easy check in. You have the whole cabin to yourself. We are located on the neighbouring property and available by phone for anything anytime. Water is heated by propane, which can take a minute to run but when it does can be very hot so please be careful. The kitchen stove is propane and safety instructions can be found in the cabin. As the property is perched on a steep hill and heights an the river are present, this is not suitable for young children.
