Piazza Arnolfo is the town’s main square, where the streets of the historic center converge and lead to the medieval old town known as Castello. The square is characterized by the careful and distinctive renovation carried out by the renowned French architect Jean Nouvel, who left his mark with the fountain, the lift system, and the former freight yard.
Casa Olivia is in an excellent position for those traveling by public transport, as buses stop directly at Piazza Arnolfo.
For those arriving by car, paid parking is available right in front of the house, while free parking can be found about 100 meters away. On Fridays, a local market takes place in the street where the house is located.
In Colle di Val d’Elsa, visitors are encouraged to explore the historic center, home to a famous Michelin-starred restaurant, enjoy the Elsa River path, and take trips to Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Casole d’Elsa, and Florence. The public swimming pool is only 100 meters from the house.
