Tres bien situé, personnel accueillant, logement vaste et fonctionnel,acces a la mer immédiat, ce qui n’est pas toujours le cas à Moorea.

Frigo un peu petit pour une famille de 5.un peu plus de vaisselle aurait ete appreciable

Ce que nous avons apprécié est la vue, incontestablement. Aussi, le bungalow familiale offre de l’espace et de l’intimité ce qui est très appréciable . La possibilité de disposer de Canoë pour se mettre à l’eau est aussi super. L’emplacement est très bien, supérettes, station essence, hôtel les tipaniers pour observer les raies à 5 min en voiture… le jardin est aussi très bien entretenu , propre, bel effort pour l’implantation des végétaux. C’est très beau. Douche pour rincer le matos de snorkeling, très pratique. Merci à la dame qui s’occupe de l’entretien pour sa gentillesse. Le bungalow est fidèle aux photos.

Dans l’ensemble, ce bungalow familiale pourrait être top s’il y avait plus de soin dans la déco et les prestations. Les draps et couvre lits mériteraient d’être changés, meilleurs oreillers, quelques lampes d’appoint pour la grande pièce de vie + ventilateur, changer certains ustensiles de cuisine, une douche rénovée… le bungalow est fonctionnel, sans chichi. Enfin, l’aire de jeu n’existe plus vraiment, réduite à un petit espace pour une ancienne et fragile balançoire pour les 3-6 ans max en faveur de la construction de bungalow en cours. Pas de bruit ni de travaux lors de notre séjour.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The views are beautiful, the property is very clean, and Lise was kind and welcoming. Having access to the private beach across the road and the complimentary kayaks was a wonderful bonus and became one of our favorite parts of the stay.

American travelers should know that the accommodations are much more basic than a typical Marriott or similar hotel in the U.S. There is no air conditioning (although we didn’t need it during our stay), the TV is very small, there isn’t a sofa, and the seating is fairly minimal. If you’re expecting a resort experience, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place with great views and good value, it delivers. One thing future guests should be aware of is the payment process. International wire transfers can take up to two weeks to complete, which wasn’t obvious to us and created unnecessary stress before our trip. Communication from the management company during that process was also slower than we expected. That said, once we arrived they were understanding and allowed us to stay while everything was being sorted out, which we genuinely appreciated. Also, the name of this place is Tapu Lodge. I suspect it’s different on here because of the poor reviews elsewhere and they are trying to hide that.
