Soggiornare in questo appartamento è stato semplicemente straordinario. Fin dal primo momento, Ileana si è dimostrata un’host impeccabile: disponibile, attenta, gentilissima e sempre pronta a rendere il soggiorno perfetto sotto ogni aspetto. La cura con cui gestisce l’appartamento è evidente in ogni dettaglio. Ero titubante in merito alle recensioni precedenti sull’odore di fogna però l’host mi aveva rassicurato che questo problema era stato risolto e devo assolutamente confermare che non ho mai riscontrato nessuno strano odore durante il soggiorno! La casa è splendida, pulitissima, arredata con gusto e dotata di tutto ciò che si possa desiderare. La posizione è ideale per vivere Milano al meglio, ma ciò che fa davvero la differenza è l’atmosfera accogliente, ci si sente subito a casa. È stata un’esperienza davvero fantastica, superiore a ogni aspettativa. Consiglio questo appartamento a chiunque voglia vivere un soggiorno indimenticabile in città. Tornerò sicuramente!

I went to Milan with a friend for Design Week and we rented an apartment in the Piola area. It was small, but it still worked well for us, both in terms of location and space. However, there were some issues which, even though we reported them, were never resolved.

Although it was stated in the room amenities that there was an iron, there was none in the apartment. We contacted the host via WhatsApp, and he told us to check all the closets, but it wasn’t anywhere. He said that the previous guest had probably taken it and that he would replace it soon, which never happened. In the end, he told us that there was a nearby dry cleaner where clothes could be ironed (how difficult would it have been to simply bring us one? The bed is a single that extends into a double, but when it is open, the space becomes very limited. So when we were in the apartment, we preferred to close it, which we did. However, there was no cover for the mattress, so we couldn’t sit there without sitting directly on the clean sheets. Also, under the bed it was dirty, with hair and dust. The bed “mattress” was not really a proper mattress, but a thin, very soft foam layer. When lying down, you could feel the wooden slats underneath, which made it very uncomfortable. In addition, it was very dirty, with hair on it and visible stains from some kind of liquid, and there was no mattress protector. Although the sheets were clean, they were placed directly on the dirty mattress. You should have provided a protective cover. Additionally, the cleanliness of the bathroom was not very good. It looked clean at first glance, but it really wasn’t. For example, the toilet was dirty inside the folds, and the top of the bathroom faucet was covered in dust. Overall, the apartment had some positive aspects — the location was great and the space itself was nice. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. If these problems are addressed and improved, the apartment could be a very good option.
