We chose the cottage mainly because it was convenient for a nearby party and looked pleasant and comfortable - and it certainly was. Recently refurbished and nicely decorated with a cosy sitting-room (we appreciated the woodburner), well-kitted kitchen and comfortable bedrooms - in friendlier weather and later in the year, we could definitely have enjoyed the garden too. We visited Walsingham Abbey which had drifts and drifts of the most beautiful snowdrops, and the next day went to stately Felbrigg and beautiful Blickling... in a blizzard! Highly recommend Walsingham's well-stocked farm shop where we picked up an excellent picnic lunch - and at least on the Saturday, had the weather to eat it outside in the sun.

No fault of the cottage or the refurbishment I'm sure, but the kitchen is challenging for tall people (over 6'6"). Different times!

A big space for a terrace cottage. Ideally suited and priced really for 4 people or a small family. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Central heating plus the log fire if you needed it. The main bedroom has a toilet and shower just off the top of the stairs. The second room, a twin, has an en suite shower. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Lounge has a TV with a Firestick. The phone signal was patchy at best but the Wi-Fi was very good. Well located for any of the Norfolk coastal attractions and beaches, Holt and Fakenham are only a short drive either way. Parking is just up few yards up the road on a grassy area. I wouldn't recommend parking outside the property as it narrows the road a bit.
