The Barn

Easy to find, good communication, nice layout, clean

Only change I would make is black out curtains in the bedrooms for the summer and putting children down.

Well located in the beautiful East Cheshire countryside, close to Congleton and Sandbach. Cool in the hot weather with a lovely airy lounge with French windows opening on to a private lawn. Excellent plumbing with plentiful supply of high- pressure hot water and a great shower. Plenty of electrical plug sockets.

Faulty fridge that beeped every second and the owners were not able to get it fixed or backed up while we were there. No dishwasher. No hairdryer. No garden furniture - a small table and couple of chairs on the patio would have been nice. Thoughtless TV set up with no access to mainstream terrestrial stations - take your passwords with you if you want to use the subscription channels. Water service/ cess pit close to garden entrance. No curtains in lounge or second bedroom. Cheap kitchen furniture and kitchen not very well equipped.
