Multi-Generational-family-friendly cabin that sleeps up to 18! LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! 15 mins to Boone & Banner Elk. 5 miles to Sugar Mountain, groceries or restaurants! On the Watauga River! The noise of waterfalls from your decks + small pond. HOT TUB & FIRE PIT, acreage in a private community! 7 Bedrooms w/ Guest House Inclused ... check! WiFi, Flat Screens, cable, fireplace, game table ... check! RIVER FRONTAGE w/waterfalls ... check! Vacation Planned ... check! $75/dog.. Over 3500 heated square feet with 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 3 kitchens (what?), and sleeping for up to 18! 3 bedrooms on the main floor (2K + Q). 2 downstairs (3 Tw + Queen + futon). 2 in the guest house (Q + Dbl + 2 Tw + futon). Plenty of space for all families to stretch out! Truly a multi-generational cabin! The guests have acreage to roam, a creek to explore and both the main house and guest house (under one roof but separated by a breezeway). With bedrooms downstairs (with a door separating the upstairs from downstairs), bedrooms on the main level requiring little stairs, and the guest house, this is the best cabin for multi-generational vacations! Put the kids or Nana to bed and stay up late comfortably! Contactless entry - We have a caretaker nearby if you need anything during your stay :) We are located inside an upscale, private community. We do keep a 10pm “noise ordinance” with our neighbors, so after 10pm, please take the loudness inside out of neighbor courtesy (some have to get up and work in the morning!). If you intend to have 18 guests huddled around the fire pit and in the hot tub til the wee hours of the night, we are probably not the best fit for your party :) You may play some musical parking cars while staying at the cabin. We have a big driveway and a garage but we often also have A LOT of cars trying to park! We have a community noise ordinance, so simply take it inside if you are a loud after-hours group! And we have had bear sightings in the neighborhood due to our proximity to Grandfather Mountain, so keep the food out of cars and away from the deck for safety! :) Lastly, we do have exterior cameras that are turned away from the cabin and off when guests are present, but are there for the safety of the home when families are not there. One in the front and one in the back.
