About this house rental
A large swimming lake and idyllic countryside—and nestled between them is the Himi vacation home in the charming village of Passade.
This home can accommodate up to 6 people for a relaxing dream vacation. The home features 3 bedrooms, one of which is on the first floor, a luxurious, open-concept country-style kitchen with a large dining area, as well as a living area with a view of the countryside, a ground-level full bathroom, and a guest restroom. The first floor—which includes the double bedroom, kitchen, dining area, and full bathroom—is wheelchair-accessible and easily navigable. There’s also a private, fenced-in garden with a large south-facing terrace where you can enjoy the fresh air to the fullest. Two dogs are welcome.
In the small village on Lake Passader, you’ll be treated to fresh rolls from the organic bakery and fresh fish from the lake’s own fishermen. The swimming area, where dogs are also welcome, is just 500 meters from the vacation home. The nearest Baltic Sea beach is also just 8 km away, a relaxing bike ride along country roads. For cycling enthusiasts, this is the perfect starting point for exploring the Probstei region.
Active vacationers will also enjoy water skiing; the 1st Kiel Water Ski Club eV looks forward to your inquiry. And don’t forget—the playground by the lake ensures plenty of fun for our youngest guests.
If you ever lose the motivation to cook for yourself, the “Fischerwiege” restaurant, with a lake view, is open during the season from Thursday through Sunday starting at 5:30 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays during the off-season. There’s also a beautiful banquet hall for celebrations accommodating up to 60 people.
As an added highlight, the “Hof Moorhörn” farm is located right next to the vacation home—from the farm café with delicious cakes to strawberries and raspberries, currants, and more—you can buy everything here in season or pick it yourself.
The Himi vacation home is also easily accessible by public transportation; the nearest bus stop is 100 meters away, where the main route from Kiel to Schönberg runs every half hour, and every other bus also goes to Schönberg Beach.
