    The location is unbeatable .. the staff are super nice It’s a little bit old and rundown however the female dorm was spacious. The lockers don’t work though.. and there’s no lock on the door , there is a Security downstairs usually most of the time though. The beds are big and comfy and the sheets are clean but a little worn. There is ac , common area is nice to sit in and mingle with others. The Wi-Fi is good just as good as anywhere else on this island. They really could clean the bathroom a bit better and fix the toilet seat though.

    The hostel was mostly empty when I was there and they would cut the power deliberately in the night. I know that because when European guest stayed, the power just happened to stay on all night and as soon as it was just me again, the power would cut off in the night. I know this because I walked around town on my way to the gym one of the early morning when I woke up to no power, and everyone else seemed to have power. The owner also slept in the room where I was and pretended to be a guest. You might have a good experience if you're white or if there are white guests there when you stay here, but this is the first time in my life I've experienced racism. In Africa of all places.
