    Food is disgusting and smelly. Housekeeper on level 2 quite rude when asked for clean sheets. SHEETS HAD NASTY STAINS and HAIR. Aircon did not work at all room very hot. Gave us a standard room when we payed and asked for a seaview room. Not good enough and a complaint was filed. TV channels very minimal. Fridge did not work so our water was left room temperature on hot days. FAULTY electricity. Staff swore at foreign guests in arabic, very rude.

    We stayed there 3x nights, checked in at 3-4 am without issues. The room allocated was on the top floor. You had to walk through a dark noise roof which was scary for a woman on her own - so much so that I would never consider staying there again... Overall though, the room was clean, hot water with good pressure. There is a balcony, albeit, there were no chairs and the balcony wall was solid and 5 feet high, so you couldn't see anything unless you stood up... A lot of average views on food, but we found the food to be good and the hotel seemed to have made adequate effortto ensure there was variety - and the quality of food was quite good. They also made fresh omlettes for breakfast. We were away during the day, so ate outside, however the one day we had lunch there, it was surprisingly good. Overall, some staff were very nice, others seemed to be stuck in a 'colonial imperialist' mentality - they would smile at you based on your race and colour and treat you accordingly - at least that's how I observed one of two older aged staff in the dining area.

    As Egyptians, we expected more from the buffet. Food was not tastey at all. Please be aware of the difference between staff and offered food, staff was amazing, supportive, kind and hospitable, always putting us first. But the management has to change food supplier and go for a much higher quality one. The beef, chicken, Paste and rice need changing. Drinks need to be delicious choices. Not the powdered drinks. Opt for fresh juice. I understand it's a budget hotel, however with its location, staff dedication and room levels, food need to level up. Even if this means higher room prices. I will only go again if food quality has changed to the better.
