It has access to La Terraza Acapulco (shared with other guests), featuring a natural pond, a palapa with a kitchen, dining area, living room, and a sun deck with a hot tub—all part of a 100% sustainable experience.
La Cajiga is a fully equipped studio that combines privacy with interaction with nature, located in the wooded surroundings of Acatitlán, Valle de Bravo. Surrounded by a majestic landscape, it features well-defined boundaries marked by flower beds, patios, and exclusive spaces that ensure the property’s privacy. Additionally, it is part of a private complex that includes other accommodations, which share common areas, trails, spacious gardens, and access, among other attractions, including La Terraza Acapulco, which features a large palapa equipped with a kitchen, dining room, living room, sun deck with lounge chairs, a hot tub, and a natural lagoon serving as a swimming pool, as well as a spacious fire pit area.
Guests have full and exclusive access to all facilities, services, furnishings, and amenities within La Cajiga, allowing them to enjoy the independence and comfort of feeling right at home. Everything is designed to facilitate a relaxed, pleasant experience that invites you to take a deep breath and reconnect with your true self.
To foster this genuine rest, there is no television, and while the resort offers mobile internet coverage for those with data plans, Wi-Fi is also available at a central hub. However, no signal boosters have been installed, encouraging travelers to disconnect from the constant technological, digital, and urban demands.
Additional services, such as firewood, heating the hot tub, extra cleaning, or meal preparation, are available for an additional fee. These must be requested in advance and will be arranged beforehand so that everything is ready upon your arrival.

Its design transcends conventional paradigms by integrating sustainability, aesthetics, and functionality in harmony with the mountains of Acatitlán and Valle de Bravo. Each space has been created to connect visitors with their surroundings, using traditional materials and techniques reflected in the floors, stucco walls, ceilings, frames, and wrought-iron and wooden doors and windows—all carefully crafted by talented artists and artisans. The interior is adorned, among other things, with works of art selected to enrich the aesthetic and cultural experience of the space.
The residence’s sustainability is reinforced by the Energy Center, a 100% sustainable system that provides the essential energy supplies for the property. This center collects rainwater and processes it through a biological treatment plant, regenerating and purifying all wastewater for endless reuse. In addition, it generates 100% of its electricity through solar power and is equipped with a backup generator and a voltage regulator, ensuring self-sufficiency and respect for the environment.
La Cajiga is not just a place to stay, but a timeless environment that invites guests to respect and appreciate the art, architecture, and natural beauty that surround it. Guests are asked to take care of every corner of the property—including the artwork—to manage their waste properly, and to use energy responsibly, as outlined in the house manual, in order to preserve its beauty and authenticity for future generations.
NOTICES:
1. Smoking: Only outside the property, in areas with ashtrays.
2. Gatherings and Celebrations: Permitted only for registered guests, respecting scheduled times and the natural surroundings. The space invites you to enjoy it mindfully and serenely. Any damage will be assessed and charged immediately.
3. Bathroom Waste: Do not flush toilet paper, sanitary napkins, or other waste down the toilets, as we have a biological treatment system. Please use the appropriate trash can.
4. Kitchen Waste: There are bins for sorting waste. Organic waste goes into the compost; inorganic waste goes in the appropriate bin.
5. Tanning lotions and sunscreen: Do not enter the natural lagoon, hot tub, or showers with chemical products. Only eco-friendly and biodegradable products are allowed.
6. Hot tub use: There is an additional fee, which will be disclosed during the reservation.
7. Use of campfires and firewood: Permitted upon notification to the manager. Firewood incurs an additional charge and will be provided by the manager.
8. Use of the charcoal grill: Available at no additional cost. Guests are responsible for providing their own charcoal.
9. Conscious Energy Use: The property is 100% solar-powered. Responsible use is requested. Lights in common areas will be turned off during the evening hours as notified during your stay.
10. La Terraza Acapulco and common areas: Shared with other guests in the event of simultaneous reservations. These include a natural pond, a palapa with a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a sun deck, and a hot tub. Specific hours may be established if necessary.
11. Pets allowed: Only small-breed dogs, maximum 10 kg; must be disclosed at the time of reservation.
• Supervision: Dogs must be supervised at all times and are not allowed on beds or furniture.
• Supplies: Guests must bring their own bed, food bowl, water bowl, and waste bags.
• Cleanliness: Keep the property free of pet hair. Pick up and properly dispose of waste.
• Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pet.
• Restricted Areas: Access to other properties or areas outside the reserved accommodations are not permitted.
• Common Areas: Pets are allowed in common areas only under constant supervision.
• Behavior: Excessive barking and aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
12. Handover and inspection of the property:
• Upon arrival, the manager will formally hand over the space and conduct a general inspection of the furnishings, facilities, rooms, and common areas.
• During your stay, staff will provide support and supervision without infringing on your privacy.
• At the end of your stay, a joint inspection will be conducted. If any damage is detected, a report will be filed with photographic evidence.
• The security deposit will be refunded in full if there is no damage. Otherwise, the corresponding amount will be deducted. If the damage exceeds the security deposit, a quote will be provided, and the guest must cover the difference within seven days.
