Featured in Galveston Monthly magazine (March 2026), this beautifully restored cottage in Galveston’s historic East End is ideal for a couple's beach getaway, cruise travelers, or UTMB visitors. To keep the property comfortable for all guests, smoking or vaping of any substance is not permitted anywhere on the property; indoors or outdoors. This includes tobacco, marijuana, e-cigarettes, and vaping devices. A minimum $500 smoke remediation fee applies for violations.

The full kitchen is at the opposite end of the hallway, and the bathroom is a separate, fully enclosed room located midway down the hall for added privacy.

▶ Property Layout & Shared Spaces/Amenities
The back porch deck with the BBQ and Adirondack chairs is a shared outdoor space that may also be used by guests staying in the separate main home (Shamrock Bungalow). The Cottage is a completely separate unit with its own private entrance. Two bicycles are also available for shared guest use between the two homes, so availability may vary depending on occupancy. Each property also has one beach wagon and two beach chairs for guest use.

• Minimum Age to Book:
We require the booking guest to be at least 21 years old and actually be staying at the property each night of the reservation.

• Historic Home:
This is a lovingly restored circa 1920's property—expect a blend of old-world character and modern updates.

• Parking:
One driveway covered parking spot in front of garage. Please note the City does not permit RVs, boats, trailers, or oversized vehicles to park in the driveway or on the street.

• Beach Access:
The home is a short drive (or a 4 block walk) to the Seawall and Galveston’s beaches.

• Air Conditioning:
Galveston is coastal and humid - air conditioning and ceiling fans are provided for your comfort. Our "window-style" AC is mounted through a wall (not a window).

• Pets:
We’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs! We allow 1 adult dog for a $75 fee. Please follow the rules below so we can continue offering pet-friendly stays:
• Dogs only; max 1 (1+ year old, no puppies)
• Must be fully housebroken; please clean up after your dog
• No pets on beds or furniture
 → If excessive pet hair is found on beds or furniture, an additional $150 cleaning fee will apply
• Must be crated if left alone (please bring a crate)
• No unattended pets outdoors; must be on leash
• Do not bathe pets in showers or sinks
• Do not use bath or beach towels for pets
• Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or extra cleaning beyond the pet fee

• Safety Features:
Equipped with smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher and first aid kit.

• No EV Charging:
EV charging via use of extension cords (including vehicles, e-bikes, scooters, hoverboards) is not permitted at the property due to safety and insurance requirements. Public EV charging stations are available nearby.

• Food and beverages staged in some photos for inspiration only – not provided during your stay. We do provide a starter supply of coffee and tea.

• Security Devices:
For your security the property is equipped with exterior security cameras (no cameras inside). Tampering with, disabling, or obscuring cameras is prohibited and against Vrbo Policies.

This was a perfect stay for our family during the Christmas holiday! The location is within walking distance to the beach and a short drive from shops/restaurants on The Strand! Natalie is the best host and the house is fully stocked with everything you could need without being cluttered!
