Quiet Wildlife View, Pool, Kitchen, Near Tamarindo Beach

The location is great. It’s an 8- to 10-minute walk to the beach and just a few more steps to the small grocery store and the surfboard and boogie board rental shop (Witch’s Rock)... you can negotiate the price. For 10 days, we paid 200 USD tax (13%) to rent both boards.(Usually, it’s 200 USD for just the surfboard.)Downtown is also very easy to reach on foot (20 minutes). It’s an easy walk where you’ll find shops and restaurants all along the way.Two downsides: if you’re less mobile, getting back to the apartment involves a fairly steep hill with no elevator, and the customer service (the staff on-site) is nonexistent. We didn’t get a single smile or greeting from them. The only super nice and pleasant person was the housekeeper. The positives are, of course, the proximity to all amenities, the balcony and the sea view you get... fantastic!, the pool, the cleanliness of the place, and although the furnishings aren’t top-notch, you’ll have everything you need with air conditioning that works well. Oh, and we were treated to the visit of howler monkeys right nearby.
