Florida Paradyse 10MIN DOWNTOWN Y 10 MIN BEACH

The location was great for us, we had a wedding in Fort Myers and it was 7 minutes to the venue. We did a few day trips to Sanibel and it was an easy 40 min drive to Sanibel Island. We had 4 adults and 2 kids, plenty of space. Loved having access to a pool for the kids to use during downtime. There were plenty of towels/washcloths and beach/pool towels. The host is fantastic, we had some questions upon arrival and she called and walked me through everything, she was extremely helpful. Very easy check in process, there was a Keurig and hair dryer.

While the location was convenient and check-in was straightforward, the home appeared much nicer in the listing photos than it did in person. The space felt more worn and somewhat run-down compared to our expectations, and some areas could benefit from updates and better upkeep. The kitchen was minimally stocked. For example, there were only two coffee mugs available, which made it a bit challenging for our group. There is also an apartment attached to the property that we were not aware of until the day of arrival. It didn’t end up being an issue, but it would have been helpful to know ahead of time. One of the showers had the hot and cold water labeled incorrectly. At first we thought there was no hot water, but eventually realized the hot water worked when the handle was turned to the “cold” side. There was also a TV, but it required logging into personal streaming services to watch anything, and we didn’t have the Wi-Fi password available during our stay.

It was very clean , easy to check in and there was extra towels and such.

There was no amenities to use such as cutting boards , can opener. It really sucked not having a washer / dryer especially with kids and having a pool there. I think it’s kind of silly, but Is what it is. The pool is absolutely freezing. A few of the kids didn’t really care but us adults couldn’t bare it. The neighbors straight across from the road would stand outside all day and stare at the house. It was very uncomfortable and kind of scary. It also is not 10 mins from the beach. Traffic is wild so plan for it to take 20-40 mins depending what time you go.

Emplacement au calme, pas trop loin du centre ville. Grand espace dans la maison, avec 2 salles de bains.

Les 2 grosses poubelles extérieures avec en plus à côté d'autres cartons de déchets n'avaient pas été vidés lors de notre arrivée. Après un message au propriétaire, cela a été évacué dès le lendemain matin. Propreté moyenne, superficielle ( pas dans les coins, ventilateur de plafond très sale...) Pas de sèche cheveux à disposition ! Lave vaisselle qui fonctionne mal, obligé de relaver la vaisselle à la main. Nous sommes arrivés un weekend assez froid, ce qui est rare dans la région. Climatisation mais pas de chauffage ! Pas de couverture à disposition. Pour information, la piscine est en extérieur, contrairement à ce qu'on pourrait croire sur la photo. Elle est entourée d'un filet , grillage de protection
