Cozy Studio with Private Yard in Christchurch CBD

Location comfort

On arrival my room door was unlocked I walked in and the room was messy and very dirty as it wasn’t cleaned from the previous people,I also missed half of my sons rugby game which was the reason needing the accommodation as I travelled from far.They did give me another room hour later which was awesome but yes that was the only problem with the stay🙂

All in all great place to stay

Parking is a bit of a pain if you have a vehicle while staying there most people just park outside the building otherwise you have to park somewhere else while you stay

Easy access - door code great!

The shower did not drain, had to wash my feet once I was out of the shower. Fixtures and fittings cheap, upstairs had an elephant staying - noise from upstairs not good. Location very industrial, prefer other side of the river.

The studio was very tidy, clean and well looked after. I particularly appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, which was very handy during my stay. Overall, the property was comfortable and well maintained.

The main issue was the noise on Friday and Saturday nights. There was a lot of shouting and yelling from the neighbourhood, and it sounded like there was a party upstairs, which made it very difficult to sleep. I understand this was probably outside the owner’s control. A few small improvements would also be helpful, such as a bedside lamp for reading, coasters and placemats. Also, part of the glass cooktop was broken and had a very sharp edge, which caused me to cut my finger while cleaning it. This is a safety issue that should be repaired.
