Piata Unirii Central Apartments

These apartments in Piața Unirii feel like a hotel in every way that matters, but with the space and privacy of your own place. This was actually my second time staying with them, and it confirmed my first impression. Honestly one of the best stays I’ve had in Iasi. The view is amazing, the style is clean and modern, and the bed and pillows are genuinely comfortable, which matters more than people think. The bathroom deserves a mention too, it’s awesome, with a great shower and strong water pressure, a nice surprise after some other places in the city. There’s also a fridge in the apartment, a small thing but a nice touch, since even hotels like the Hilton, formerly Hotel Europa, don’t offer one. What stood out most is that you can call for anything you need, including having your sheets changed only when you actually want it instead of someone coming in daily whether it’s needed or not. Check in and check out are simple, you don’t even have to talk to anyone if you don’t want to. They send all the information ahead of time so you know exactly what to do. The front desk and office staff are sweet, welcoming, and beautiful, and made the whole process easy. The Tiki Bar and the Piața Unirii cafe downstairs give a 15% discount, a nice touch. The menu is worldly, simple and complex at the same time, and the food is amazing, both in taste and presentation. The chefs behind it clearly know what they’re doing. Two things I’d flag. First, with how much thought went into the comfort, atmosphere, and overall setup, some of the servers could bring a bit more warmth to the customer service. I know a smile isn’t as built into the culture here as it is in the West, but in a place with such a modern, western atmosphere, it would fit right in and make the experience even better. They should take notes from Bianca and Radu, who served me on separate occasions and did an amazing job both times. Second, a few employees take their breaks right by the back entrance and exit of the apartments, and some of the commentary I overheard wasn’t exactly professional. Worth keeping in mind that not every guest is a stranger to the language, so it might be best to save those comments for somewhere a little more private or better yet work on your vocabulary. Overall the owner did a great job putting together hotel style apartments with real comfort, great views, a useful discount, and room service tied in from the places downstairs. Highly recommend.

Loved the location, amenities, bed quality, brilliant location and nice staff that allowed us a later check-out. Only downside, water took a bit of time to warm up but, other than that, everything was great! Highly recommended

If I were to return to Iaşi again some other time,this would be my place of choice to stay!Rooms are clean,the apartment was well furnished and all appliances functioning.Heating was good.The staffs were amazing!!Highly recommended place!!Coming back to Iaşi after 13 years and having a great place to stay like this made my holiday even better!!

A very nice place and a nice receptionist, helped me get info for the bus to moldova. If I come back to iasi I'll definitely try to book this place. Thank you
