Great property cozy and in an awesome location

The emergency exit sign was incredibly bright and honestly redundant as the door was obvious. The odd shaped windows upstairs could do with some blinds or curtains to address light and it might make sense to block off the lower room with a large curtain. But I’m not picking here as it was an amazing property

The last time we came to Hakuba for snowboarding was 2017, so this trip felt extra special. We were very lucky to find this beautiful chalet at the last minute. It truly has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You can tell the owner has put a lot of thought and effort into making the place welcoming and well-equipped. We also did our best to keep everything clean and well cared during our stay. Communication with the owner was excellent which we really appreciated. The family snow trip was priceless and we will definitely be back ^_^

One small challenge was that the firewood burned quite quickly so my husband had a full time job of making sure the wood fire stayed on the whole time. Despite that, it was all part of the cozy chalet experience and actually made our stay even more memorable.

Very European style & wooden, beautiful location, very close to ski Jump & Happo One. Not in town, so quiet which we liked, maybe not if your young?? To get the full benefit, I think a car is a good idea, as one can then easily visit other Hakuba ski areas, or Shiga Kogen & Ilzuni, as we did. Owner posted jacket back we left behind. Thankyou, very kind, we can pay if U like, just let us know how? I'd like to know where U get this wooden cabin kits from I'd like to build 1 in Oz, I liked it so much??

Upstairs bedrooms need a screen or curtain for privacy, downstairs fine. More hooks everywhere to hang ski clothes & clothes in general. These are very cheap & easy to fit, I'd have done it for nothing. Fridge door needs mounting on the other side, as hard to access fridge in the corner. Kitchen shelves could be mounted higher on the wall away from the fridge. I would have liked to meet the owner to thank them personally.

Host was a good and prompt communicator and very helpful. We appreciated our bags being picked up from Yamato Transport and taken to El Green Log for us. It was very spacious (especially by Japan standards), clean and had everything we needed. Very warm and we loved the fireplace. Good location to get shuttles from the Echoland Spicy stop to ski fields, and an easy walk to many restaurants.
