Historic Gardener s House in Haltinne

The house and its surroundings are absolutely wonderful! The host is really nice and helpful. She showed us the castle and we went on wonderful hikes that are directly at the door. The house is really special with all it's restored rooms, a big kitchen with everything and a cozy living room. It is a magical place in the middle of green meadows and forests. We absolutely loved it.

As I said the house and the house were great. Not so great was Belvilla, the company who is apparently renting the house for the owners. They just added more charges after I had booked. I tried to get a hold of them via Booking, which did not go so well. Now one week later we are still trying to figure this out. Booking was very helpful in this, they called me several times to help and confirmed that the extra charges were not correct. The direct contact with the owners in Haltinne is really easy and lovely, but a call to Belvilla was impossible, because the phone number they sent me did not work. Emails were answered plainly repeating the extra charges weeks after I had sent my question to explain. I still hope that this will be solved with the help of Booking.
