Vittsjö charmiga hus

The family hosting is amazingly hospitable and welcoming, so helpful and generous. Have been staying twice now and will for sure come back again, for the beautiful surroundings, yes, but more so for the pleasure of meetings these lovely people again and share some more conversations. Location is conveniently close to the railway station and beautiful hiking trails through the forest and along the lake side. Quite close to the house one can go for a swim in the lake, there is a nice cafe open during the summer season and there is a super market in the village. From the rooms one has a view over the lake and access to the garden where one can have morning coffee in the sun with lakeview. The train tracks are between the lake and the house, but the trains don’t pass by that often so it doesn’t bother. The room has comfortable beds and access to bathroom and kitchen with all sort of equipment that one might need. The guest spaces are reached straight from the outside, so one can come and go as one pleases. All in all a very price worthy and nice lodging with great hosts, definitely worth a stay (or many!)

The walls of the rooms are not that thick, so if both rooms are rented out one can hear people talking in the other room quite well. Most of the nights I have spent there just my room has been rented out though, and the other nights have not been a problem either since people have been considerate.

The hosts were kind, accommodating and flexible. The room was nice and clean, there's a separate entrance, kitchen and bathroom. There's an option to have your clothes washed for a small fee and the hosts are helpful if you need something. I recommend booking with them, if you need to stay somewhere central to shopping and public transportation and also want to feel at home, away from home.

Sehr spontane Anreise möglich, die eine Übernachtung war soweit ok. Sehr nette Unterkunftsbetreiberin!

Was sich nicht in den Bildern und in der Beschreibung zu sehen ist, ist das sich die beiden angeboteten Zimmer im Untergeschoss des Wohnhaues befindet. Die Unterkunftsinhaberin wohnt darüber. Dadurch das eine Holzdecke dazwischen ist hört man regelmäßig viel. Das Badezimmer hat keine Heizung, etwas kalt. Es ist auch eine Küche verfügbar, jedoch ist das Geschirr leider nicht komplett sauber und könnte teilweise neu kommen, das hat mir am wenigsten gefallen.
