Poppy's Flat - 10 min from Venice & Train Station

Kontakt z gospodarzem był bardzo dobry. Niemniej wszelkie kwestie dotyczące użytkowania domu były dokładnie opisane w mailu, który dostaliśmy wcześniej. W mieszkaniu niczego nie brakowało. Naprzeciwko domu jest duży supermarket, gdzie można zrobić wszelkie zakupy. Pod samym domem jest zaś sklepik z warzywami i owocami. Do przystanku autobusowego jest kilka kroków, a stamtąd można dojechać do samej Wenecji.

Szkoda, że w mieszkaniu nie ma żelazka, ale nie było go w opisie, więc wszystko jest ok.

Appartamento pulito e fornito di tutto il necessario per vivere al meglio il soggiorno. Vicino ai mezzi pubblici, con un supermercato vicinissimo. Linda disponibile con consigli e aiuti ❤️ Grazie torneremo volentieri!

Appartamento ampio e ristrutturato

Essendo a Mestre occorre ben tener presente che ci vuole circa 10/15 min per arrivare a Venezia in bus (come ben evidenziato anche sul sito)

The best thing about this apartment is location. It is 10 minutes walk from the train station, which connects with multiple cities. The bus to/from the airport, and to Venice is practically across the street, and there is a big supermarket a few steps away. The building and the neighborhood feel safe, although we encountered a pick pocketed while boarding the bus (never carry valuables where they can reach!). The apartment was very quiet, which we appreciated. We had good communication with the landlady, and appreciated her flexibility with an early check in.

The heating is regulated by the building and it only worked a couple of hours in the evening. We felt a bit cold at night and in the morning, and that made our stay uncomfortable during those times. One night the electricity went out, and we had to come down from the 4th to the 1th floor to turn it on. The landlady was very responsive, but there was little she could do. In the end, we speculate that the washing machine caused the blackout, as it created too much demand on the circuits. Finally, the apartment could use a proper coffee machine.
