The house has wide space which is big enough to accommodate a big family (6-10 people). It is spectacular clean and located in serene environment.
No cutting board is provided. Utensils such as spoon, fork, knife and chopsticks are limited.
No English instructions provided for washing machines. Contacting property can only be done via email which is not convenient and not real time.

We stayed here as 2 couples on a mini road trip to hike Mt Aso and surrounding areas. The cabin is architecturally cool, with lots of natural light, high ceilings, and plenty of gathering space. The little fireplace is super cozy at night.
The firewood buckets provided are ridiculously overpriced. I think they want a thousand yen per bucket; each bucket just has a couple kg of wood scraps. I advise guests to consider bringing a little of their own firewood to supplement, unless they want to spend thousands of yen to burn a few pieces of plywood.
