The location is excellent. The small alley is very quiet and beautiful, and stepping outside you are immediately surrounded by church architecture. It is very convenient as a place to stay while traveling. There is also a supermarket just a two- or three-minute walk away, which made everything even more convenient. The room is also quite spacious and well equipped. There is a kitchen and a washing machine, which makes it especially suitable for guests like us who need to stay for a longer period.

That said, I do have to mention a few drawbacks. The ventilation is not very good, as there are no windows except for a glass door. The microwave did not work at all. The room is also a bit old, and the door was quite difficult to open, requiring a lot of force, which caused us a little trouble when we first checked in. It also seemed that the bathroom light and exhaust fan were controlled by the same switch, and the fan was extremely loud. At night, if you wanted to use the bathroom without disturbing others, you basically had to do so in the dark. One small suggestion: it would be wonderful if the host could provide a wine opener — after a whole day of traveling, what visitor wouldn’t want to relax in the room with a lovely glass of French wine? The location is really really perfect.

I didn’t know that the apartment was on the ground floor. There was no shower gel, shampoo. There is no tv too.

The person in charge of the apartment came inside with her own keys a few minutes after our arrival (15.00h as detailed in the instructions). The apartment could use a fresh-up (painting of living room, sofa, details in the walls of bedroom and bathroom...)
