Ukiyo Nature Retreat

We had such an amazing experience staying at Ukiyo Nature! ❤️ It was the perfect place for my birthday getaway, and I honestly loved every little detail of our stay. The bed was so comfortable, and the main bedroom was beautiful, cosy and relaxing. But my favourite part was the Nest Room — it felt like having our own little living room and kitchen space, with the fire burning inside. It was such a warm and peaceful space to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. 🔥✨ I also loved the thoughtful little touches. The champagne and the cute handwritten note made me feel so special. 🥂💝 Thank you so much, Jenny and Evan, for the lovely note and champagne. It was such a beautiful surprise and made my birthday even more memorable. Thank you for creating such a beautiful and peaceful place. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily come back again! ❤️

One small thing we experienced was that we went to the supermarket especially to buy meat so we could enjoy a BBQ during our stay. Unfortunately, the gas ran out just as we were about to start cooking. It was a little disappointing because we were really looking forward to having a BBQ and couldn’t enjoy it as planned. It would be really helpful if an extra gas could be kept available for guests, just in case the gas runs out. Other than this, we absolutely loved our stay and had such a wonderful birthday getaway. ❤️

The serenity

Nothing.

Beautiful space. Loved waking up to the sound of the trees rustling, birds chirping (and spotting). Tent was very clean and comfy, nice little extra touches like coffee/tea in the common areas, bathroom was tidy and the bed was very comfortable. Hosts contacted us regularly with updates, personalized notes and a bottle of bubbly in the fridge was a lovely touch. Very much a couples type setup but for sure would suit a family (if you booked both tents at the same time).

Nothing really to complain about. Minor suggestions would be to stock larger pots of milk (the small caps aren't enough for a coffee) and perhaps another hook in the bathroom. It's obviously a very new setup (lots of new plants still growing in) so tiny insignificant details to polish are expected.

It was set in a beautiful secluded location, just perfect for a couples retreat. Close to attractions like the hot springs and brewery

Nothing.. everything was wonderful.. As a city dweller, if i could say one thing.. maybe the option of a seperate toilet as i needed to use the toilet but another guest was in the shower. Not a deal breaker but maybe an option of a portaloo at the tent?
