Kona Nook - Cozy Studio with Island Warmth

Very charming and comfortable

There were ants the first few days, but the owner had someone spray.

The location worked well for our stay in Kona. Driveway for parking is tight but absolutely manageable, free, and off the street. Hosts are prompt and responsive, self check-in and checkout were simple. There were thoughtful amenities like earplugs, sleep masks, aloe, sunscreen, etc. It is cozy for a couple—no door between room and washroom which isn’t an issue for us. A/C was a godsend.

Poor soundproofing as the floor above is quite noisy. We did find some small roaches which are common in Hawaii but host did assure that they do practice pest control.

Everything was very comfortable and welcoming. The host was very communicative and willing to help with small requests. All necessary kitchenware was provided, as well as dishwashing supplies and various toiletries. It was especially nice to see even aloe and sunscreen available. Once again, I want to emphasize that it was very clean and overall an excellent place — I would definitely come back here 1000%.

The only downside is the tight parking space, but I got used to it after two days.

Room was crowded. Noisy during the day, sounded like construction above.
