Taree CBD Tiny backyard POD

The pod was very private. Off street parking was very welcome.

The shower is too small to use comfortably.

Location. Definitely preferred this over a motel. Would re-book.

A few things needed attention but the hosts were very responsive. The pod designers should’ve moved the toilet off centre for more shower room! A couple of additional items could’ve made the stay a bit easier eg. Dishrack or second t-towel; gladwrap; small jug that fits under tap.

It was comfortable enough but you could get on both sides of the bed which made it hard to get into , but ok for the money

Not having the bed close to the wall

It is nice and close to shopping and town facilities, in a quiet, accessible backyard. Bed was comfortable enough, basic facilities OK for a one or two night stay.

For an elderly couple, the outside access stairs are too high - would be better to have three steps rather than the current two. The light was not working in the main living area, and we were restricted to using a small table lamp - quite insufficient. We could not get the TV to operate - if it indeed works, would be nice to have simple operating instructions available. Access to water for the kitchen was difficult- we had to carry mugs full of water from the very small handbasin in the bathroom to the jug in the ‘kitchen’. Because of this problem, we were unable to wash up the few dishes we used. The floor in front of the bathroom door seems to be very worn or rotted under the floorcovering - might need checking out. As elderly couple, we found access to the double bed in the very small bedroom extremely difficult.
