good position for Manchester centre. The bed was ok and the wifi worked ok once I had the long code installed. The automatic lighting in the corridors and downstairs is helpful. The other guests were well-behaved and helpful. Parking was easy and the place easy to find. There was a desk and chair and the room a good size. Very inexpensive accommodation compared to other properties in Manchester but . . . .

Where to start? I didnt receive the code for entry until I phoned. Luckily he answered promptly. The first thing I had to do was to go out and buy toilet paper! That was a first. The stairs are extremely steep and narrow and the top step rather dangerous. the bedroom was spacious but very cold when I got there. The radiator isnt big enough for the room so it never got really warm although the heating was on all the time. The toilet seat is broken. The fridge in my room had old food still in it even though the fridge was turned off. I left that. The cupboard would have been useful but there were no hangers! The kitchen fridges were overflowing with guest's food so I didn't use the kitchen facilities except the kettle. I couldnt find a single spoon and, so far as I could see, there was only one knife. Maybe the other guests had the other cutlery? N.B. It states on booking.com presently that the rooms are ensuite. This is NOT the case. There is one very small shared bathroom.
