Brand NEW Renovated Coastal Beach House

Great location—just a short drive to the beach and conveniently close to Trader Joe’s (a big bonus for us), as well as other markets. The place itself was very nice and recently renovated. We especially loved the indoor bike and the office desk setup. Having a washer and dryer was a real lifesaver while traveling with a toddler.

We did run into a few issues during our stay. We visited during an unexpectedly cold period, and unfortunately the heating couldn’t be adjusted remotely by the host, so having a portable heater available would have made a big difference (funny to say while traveling in Florida!). We were also promised a baby cot, but it wasn’t available upon arrival. Additionally, we experienced some problems with the front door’s electronic lock—it didn’t work reliably and wasn’t an easy fix. Host was responsive and genuinely tried to help throughout our stay, even though not all issues could be resolved at the time. It’s also worth noting that this is not a fully private unit—it’s divided into two spaces, with other guests staying on the other side of an internal door, so just make sure those doors are properly locked for privacy. Overall, we appreciated the host’s communication and their effort to make things right, and we were able to agree on some compensation due to the inconveniences. Thank you!

Nice neighborhood in a good location. The power shower was pretty amazing!

To us the bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were made out of a polyester that literally felt like plastic. The driveway was full of owners trailers and made it difficult for us to park when other guests were there. Paper thin walls made us hear every word of the other guests (which was slightly frustrating when they had small kids). Last night we didn’t have any electricity so our phones couldn’t charge and there were no lights functioning in the kitchen. When we tried to communicate with the host we got zero response which we didn’t appreciate as one issue we communicated was that the lock was out of battery and the door was hence left open as we went out on a tour. -not very nice when we had all our things in an unlocked room while being out. The issue had been resolved when we returned but it would have been nice to have been informed so we could have relaxed. The communication we did receive was clearly copy paste information created to send en mass. Some recommendations were things that were not applicable (like the Naples pier that was closed for big renovations when we were there and presumably a long time ahead in time).

Bedroom is on driveway, not ideal if it’s busy but was ok since we were the only guests at the house.

The home itself is nice and spacious, located in a good neighborhood, and it was great to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house is in good condition and has the modern, upgraded look shown in the booking listing, which we appreciated. The location is good, with easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, and nearby beaches, which made getting around very convenient.

There were several issues that made the stay fall short of expectations. The property is advertised as an entire home rental, but the garage has been converted into a separate unit. Because of this, you can clearly hear the neighbors and they can hear you. Unfortunately, we even heard them arguing one night, which really took away from the sense of privacy and comfort you’d expect when renting a full home. Please note, the thermostat is capped at 73 degrees, so you can’t cool the house further at night. We were woken up early both weekend mornings, by lawn care and loud jet ski revving before 8am. Unfortunately, day of checkout we received an email around 8 AM asking us to check out by 10 AM, even though the booking clearly states an 11 AM checkout. We politely asked to honor the listed time but didn’t receive any response, which was frustrating and left a negative final impression.
