Park Royal 809 Vista al Mar

Great view and location right on the beach. Staff was attentive and helpful. Yolanda from the property management company was responsive to our requests and helpful. The spa in the hotel had a wonderful masseuse, Gloria, and she was so good we each got two massages ($62 per massage); Veranda restaurant was good and very reasonable.

FILTHY. Showers have mold, toilet filthy, walls are stained and dirty, no oven, no microwave, kitchen dishes and utensils very dirty, furniture stained, dusty, AC was leaking onto floor, pots and pans rusty and dirty, two-plate stove rusted and dirty, no soap for dishwasher, no clean sponges for washing dishes, no cutting boards, grout in showers moldy, smoke detector missing, patio window panes filthy, crap laying on the ground on the patio. Bedskirts haven’t been washed in years. In short the condo is “tired” and lacked TLC. I would not recommend this unit #809. Also I was told the day I arrived they needed a $200 cash deposit. Apparently this requirement was buried in the listing, but it was all the cash I had on me, so it made things difficult for the rest of the trip. Would’ve been nice if they told me that when they ran the payment for the week ($1100). For the price, I expected a clean place with the basics needed for cooking and preparing meals. The master room windows did not close properly (photo).WILL NOT STAY AGAIN. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I blame the property management company for this and not the Individual staff who tried to be helpful.
