Zhangjiajie Cloudscape Lodge-English Services-Near the Ticket Gate

Perfect place for vacation. Close to the national park, large rooms very clean. Free breakfast and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The best part of the Zhangjiajie Cloudscape Lodge was the staff. They went above and beyond in giving advice and help, organizing our stay, and getting tickets. They were so nice and really accommodating. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. The view from the roof is spectacular. The village area around it was beautiful to walk through and it is very close (about a 10 minute walk) to the ZiMuGang Gate (a smaller and quieter entrance) to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

Nothing we didn't like, just a room note: We had a triple room, the view from which was a little obstructed compared to their other rooms, but still a good view.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Zhangjiajie Cloudscape Lodge and honestly it has been one of the best experiences of our trip around China so far — 10000/10 recommended! Our flight was delayed by almost 2 hours, but they still waited for us late at night and welcomed us so kindly. The receptionist was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always happy to help with everything we needed. The Chinese-style breakfast was delicious every morning, and they even provide umbrellas for guests to use during the day, which was super helpful. What really impressed us was their amazing selection of raincoats, shoe covers, and different sizes and colours available — very practical and honestly a lifesaver for rainy days in Zhangjiajie National Park! We also had a problem with the zipper on one of our trousers, and they helped us fix it immediately without any issue. Such a thoughtful and caring gesture. On our last day, we asked if they could arrange a taxi for a specific time, and they organised everything perfectly. They also helped us with cable car tickets and airport pick-up arrangements, making the whole trip so much easier and stress-free. The level of hospitality here is truly exceptional. Everyone was so kind, professional, and genuinely caring. We felt very looked after during our stay. If you are visiting Zhangjiajie, stay here — you will not regret it!
