La Casita Villalba

Sehr grosse, preiswerte Unterkunft auf zwei Stockwerken mit 3 Schlafzimmern, 2 Badezimmern, einer grossen Dachterrasse mit schöner Aussicht, Liegestühlen und Sitzgruppe, ruhig und mit genügend Parkplätzen direkt vor dem Haus. Auch die Zimmer sind sehr gross und schön eingerichtet und bieten mindestens für 7 Leute Platz. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, sogar Willkommensgeschenke hat sie mitgebracht und war für Fragen/Anliegen jederzeit per WhatsApp erreichbar.

Das Licht in der Küche (kombiniert mit Wohnzimmer) ist ziemlich schwach, anstelle einer Kommode hätte ich mir ein zweites, kleines Sofa gewünscht (wäre gemütlicher) und für Selbstkocher ist die Küche nicht besonders gut ausgestattet (z. B. kein Backofen und nicht viel Kochbesteck).

Location was great. It was clean and the host was helpful. Roof terrace was a nice space.

Dated furnishings. I liked it had traditional character but it wouldn't take much effort or cost to refresh the bed throws and some other small touches. It was fine for us 2 men on a cycling tour but others might be more concerned.

Our family loved the location in a peaceful part of the island. The house was well equipped and we enjoyed the amazing views of the mountains and the close location to the sea. It was a great base for exploring the whole island, only 25min drive from the airport.

There was almost nothing that could be improved on!

The house was a lovely big home from home. Cosy during the day and night. The bedrooms were huge with many to choose from and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was powerful and hot. I just loved the whole Canarian atmosphere of the house, it was nice and bright with the sunny roof terrace being the cherry on the cake. I sunbathed for hours up there. Fantastic views from the bedroom and the roof terrace over the mountains and down to the sea. The location was great being right beside the coast at Arrieta which has the supermarket and restaurants. Also the town of Punta Mujeres with restaurants too, only a short walk along the coast. Our host was delightful, helpful and very friendly. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home.

There was no water from the hot tap in the kitchen, not a big deal because we simply boiled the kettle to wash up. The TV was tricky to work out but we got there, not any English channels available, Netflix would've been nice or the option of YouTube. A socket in the kitchen came out of the wall when unplugging the toaster, looked unsafe.
