外浦海岸から本当に歩いてすぐですし、山の上で宿のリビングは完璧なオーシャンビューです。ゴミ箱の多さ、タオルの豊富さ、BBQ道具一式がアメニティに含まれている、雨が降りそうだというタイムリーなお知らせまでオーナーさんから頂けるなど、とにかく滞在を快適にするための気配りが隅々まで行き渡っていました。海から砂まみれで帰ってリビングでくつろぐまでの動線がスムースで、家自体もよく造られていると思いました。家電類・食器類などはすべて完璧なまでに揃っています。各部屋に洗面台があるのもとても助かります。チェックインとチェックアウトがともに12:00というありえない好条件で、これにとても助けられました。二日目も朝食後に軽く海で遊んでから帰ることができました。また来年も是非利用させていただきたいと思います。
これは宿自体の問題ではないのですが、外浦海岸から宿までの道が、とにかく狭く、曲がりくねり、大型の車だとかなり運転に気を遣います。対向車が来たらアウトなのですが、慣れている地元の方ならともかく、観光客同士で鉢合わせになったら、バックして回避した方がどこかでぶつけそうです。ちなみに私は駐車場から出るときに妙な転回の仕方をしてしまって、向かいの家の道路まで続く階段の一番下の段にフロントスポイラーをぶつけて破損してしまいました。くれぐれもご注意ください。大きめの車で来る人は、宿から続く階段下の駐車場に入れるよりも、すこし下の広い野原にある宿の駐車場に駐めるのが得策だと思います。

Tõ is a wonderful place to stay in Shimoda! It’s a very beautiful spacious house with a lovely garden and terrace, close to a very beautiful and comfortable beach. There is everything you need for a comfortable vacation. Minori and her family are very welcoming and helpful and made our stay very comfortable.

部屋が広くてタオルも沢山あるのでサウナにも2回入りました。バーベキューも人目を気にせず出来て楽しかったです。
宿に行く途中が狭いところがあって対向車とすれ違うのがちょっと困りました。
