Hotel Roadside Inn

Good location in the northern part of Lakeside, only about a minute from the lake area and around a 30-minute walk to the Sarangkot cable car station. There are many restaurants, shops, and taxis nearby, making it convenient to get around Pokhara. The room was a decent size with a balcony and windows, which made it comfortable. The rooftop is simple but offers a nice view of the city where you can sit and relax. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money

The biggest issue was the Wi-Fi, which was very unstable and slow. Hot water was also inconvenient — sometimes it was unavailable and required staff assistance to turn on the boiler and then wait for it to heat up. Cleaning was acceptable but could be improved. There is no elevator, so reaching higher floors with heavy luggage can be inconvenient. Also, the room was listed with air conditioning, but there was no remote control in the room. We didn’t need it because the weather was comfortable during our stay, but other guests mentioned that using it might involve an extra charge. I can’t confirm that myself, but it felt a bit confusing and could be explained more clearly in advance

Locatie ligt centraal, kamers waren goed schoon.

We kwamen vermoeid terug van een trekking en hadden hier geen warme douches en harde bedden. Ook was er geen lift en zaten we op de 5e etage. Al met al een tegenvaller. Er is wel warm water, maar dit moet je dan echt vragen, dan zetten ze het aan. Het personeel was niet echt klantgericht, behalve het manusje van alles, die jongen was super behulpzaam.
