Suito-san, the owner, is very kind and more than helpful. He gave us good advice about things to do and will help you in any way he can to make your stay even more comfortable. He speaks very good English. The house is sublime. Located on a quiet street with a very good izakaya nearby, great in the evening. There is also a free parking close by the house. A 10 minutes walk brings you to the train station and there you will find Hama Bar, where you can taste very good saké from Saga and beyond. Truly a great experience if you never stayed in a traditional japanese house. And please make the effort to tidy up and sort your rubbish before returning the keys; this will be greatly appreciated.

We stopped by Kashima for a sake tour (with friends), and by pure chance we found this absolutely perfect place to stay. We truly feel lucky. First of all, the host speaks excellent English, is incredibly kind, and has deep knowledge about sake. We were honestly very moved by his hospitality. He gave us so many tours and was so warm and thoughtful that the trip itself became even more enjoyable. Second, it was an honor to be able to stay in such a traditional Japanese house at this price. Everything felt like a cultural heritage site....every detail was priceless to us. If you are visiting for a sake tour, staying in such a historic Japanese house will be an incredibly meaningful experience. To be honest, this is the kind of place I want to keep to myself—it was truly perfect and very special to me. Thank you so much, Mr. Suitto!

The property aesthetics was mind blowingly beautiful, clean, comfortable, spacious, above all, extremely artistic and impressive. Suito San was very very friendly, helpful and caring, he has been showing us around the place, bringing us to enjoy the local food and scenery, we had such a good time spending the day with him , he feels like a friend in our trip. We have never stayed in a property as impressive as this.
