The best family-run place in the Fergana Valley! Right in the centre of Margilan, close to family-run silk workshops. The owner, is fun and helpful. On my first evening he gave me plov, bread, halva and homemade quince jam, and I felt as welcome as at home. He drove me and another guest to the Thursday bazaar, Rishtan and Kokand the entire day, and sent me to a family silk workshop where he asked for a tourist discount instead of a commission. Every morning his mother makes breakfast. The station of Margilan is a 10-minute taxi away. The Fergana airport is roughly 40 min by taxi. I even got more spacious room from the one I booked. Highly recommended!

My husband & me had a wonderful experience staying at JOMIY homestay. It was the authenticity of staying with locals that made our stay unforgettable. Hilola (Mother) & Bilal (Son) manage the homestay. It’s well located - Choykana (tea house), taxi stands are at 10-15mins walking distance. People in the neighbourhood are warm & welcoming. Bilal made some very good recommendations for us to explore Margilan & Fergana Valley. Overall, highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had Margilan as base stay for 4nights and made day trips to nearly places - Rishtan (for one of the best ceramics/pottery), Andijan (birthplace of Babur), Kokand (for monuments), Margilan (Ikat/Adras, local sunday bazaar)
