It was a self catering holiday so our breakfasts were obviously superb.

There could have been a booklet supplied giving instructions on how to operate the microwave and the cooker. There was an issue with the waste bins. When the black bag containing the kitchen waste needed to be put into the outside refuse bin, this was impossible because the bin was already completely full. Obviously the previous occupants had not realised that they were expected to put the bin out each week for emptying by the council. We hadn't been told this either.The only comment we received was to make sure the correct items went in the correct bin otherwise there could be a fine imposed by the council. We found out (from the council website) that the bins needed to be put out on Thursady night ready for collection on Friday (after 6.30am). One week refuse collection the next recycling. The various recycling bins appeared to have been missed as well because they were all nearly full. We managed to get most of our items in, with a few left over. The bin collection was made during our packing up to go home. The bins were retuned to there storage area and our excess recycling items put in them. Perhaps it should be made more clear as to the relevant procedures to follow.
